Churches and its people like to adhere to a doctrinal creed and way of doing things. The famous words of a dying church are “We have never done it that way before.” Change which is essential, is avoided as much as a person can. We are commanded in Philippians 2: 5 to “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus…” It does not say , “It would be good if you let the mind of Christ be in you,” but rather it is a command to “let this Mind Be in You..” How does this happen?
